Benefits of a temporary number for Alibaba
- Privacy: keep your personal SIM off Alibaba and away from data leaks.
- No SIM card: receive the SMS in your browser.
- Many countries: pick a local number where Alibaba expects one. See countries.
- Fair pricing: pay only for codes you receive; cancel for a refund.
- API: automate Alibaba test flows with the SMS activation API.
Activation or rental
A one-time activation keeps the number for about 20 minutes, which is enough for one Alibaba code. If you expect Alibaba to ask for verification again, for example when you log in on a new device, a rented number is safer because it stays assigned to you for days or months. If the Alibaba code does not come
Wait 1 to 2 minutes before requesting again, check that the country code is not entered twice, and try another number or country if Alibaba refuses the first one. See 10 fixes for codes that do not arrive.
Use it responsibly
Temporary numbers are a privacy and testing tool. Follow Alibaba’s terms of service, do not use numbers for spam, fraud or impersonation, and keep your own SIM on accounts you must be able to recover long term.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get a Alibaba verification code online?
Create an SMSFlash account, top up with USDT, pick Alibaba and a country, then enter the number you receive in Alibaba. The code appears in your account, usually within seconds.
What if the Alibaba code does not arrive?
Cancel the number for an instant refund to your balance. If the timer ends without a code, the refund is automatic, so you only pay for numbers that worked.
Can I use the same number for Alibaba again later?
A one-time number is meant for a single code. If Alibaba may ask for a code again, rent a number for the period you need, where available.
Which country should I choose for Alibaba?
Any country with numbers in stock can work. If one is refused, try another country or a higher price option, which often comes from a fresher number pool.
Is it safe to use a virtual number for Alibaba?
Yes for privacy and testing. The code is shown only in your account. For a Alibaba account you must keep for years, add a recovery email and an authenticator app, or use a rented number.
